We only accept new, unworn, hand-made (not shop bought) items. We are delighted for any knitted or crochet items you send and can always find people who need them. We normally make with hats, scarves, or cowls, but don't let that limit you that is just our preference. We can also take squares, blankies, mittens, lap blankets, stuffed animals, dog sweaters, ect. If you take the time to make something with your hands, I will find a person in need that could use it.

We do not use patterns. We think knitting or crocheting should be fun and relaxing. Make whatever pattern you want and be creative. We are a firm believer in make what makes you happy. This will also help allow for alot of unique and special items for people who recieve your donation.

We do not use any specific brand, color, or type. We think that would limit your creativity. When you make something that you’re donating you should have fun with it. Knitter or Crocheters choice.

We can and do teach knitting or crocheting to someone wanting to learn. We plan to be hosting workshops locally to be able to teach multiple people at once.

Yes, we are mostly in need of adult and child sized scarves and hats. Please note that women and children are a huge part of our recipients.

If you look under are donations tab on the website or on facebook, you can see where we previously donated in past and our current needs. We work closely with different organizations in the community and set project goals that we keep up to date and posted on there as well as our facebook page.

If you are local or close to Winchester, KY, we can come to pick them up or meet you somewhere. We have had people drop items off at our headquarters and at Mason's On Main (a local business that has aggreed to take donateions for us). You can also mail it in a package to:

Yes, we take all donated items and we share them with the local volunteers.

Yes, the yarn we receive will be used make items for those in need.

At the end of the year you will get a receipt for all of the items you donated. So please make sure we have your full name and address if you wish to recieve a receipt.
