Donations

While considered part of "The South", when winter temperatures hit Kentucky, they hit hard. This is especially true for those in our communities that are homeless or currently in transition, as well as those in our hospitals, retirement homes, and rehabilitation facilities.

For thousands of children and adults in Kentucky, items that most of us take for granted, such as hats and scarves that protect from these bitter cold temperatures, are simply a luxury they cannot afford. While many shelters attempt to provide and distribute these types of item, so many still go without.

You can help change that. Your tax deductible donations will help Knit It Forward to provide handmade items, such as hats, scarves, and blankets, to those who need them most. Donations of finished products, or knitting supplies, can be mailed to the address below.
